About the book

''The Giver'' is very full of suspense, especially the direction, which it takes course, changes constantly.

In this short period of Jonas' life occurs much different important incidents from different sections of life.

The question, which arise while reading, are answered shortly after emerging.

I, in person, don't like the first pages of the book because they are in comparison to the rest really boring and you apprehend the relevance of the first pages primal in the later course of the book.

In contrast to the beginning I really like the end not just but barely owing to the open ending because it's perfect to work on at school.

While reading activity: Chapter 21

In the twenty-first chapter Jonas is together with Gabe on the run away from the community.
He didn't even got the important attributes, which the Giver wanted to give him so it's more complicated.
He took his father's bike with the baby's high chair, in which he put Gabe, and drove under cover of the night far away.
At night he raved as fast as he could and on day he scaned the ambit for a place to hide and to sleep.
He gave his smoothiest dreams to Gabe so that he was sleeping most of the time and when an airplane flew over their hads he remembered for snow and coldness and gave a part of this memories to Gabe in order that they freeze and the sonsors of the airplanes can't locate them.

While reading activity: Chapter 19

In the nineteenth chapter Jonas becomes acquaianted with some new possibilities and technologies, which he can use in his instruction.
He learns that he is allowed to do everything he wants, without worrying that others would query this.
So he's watching a video about the releasing of one of the twins, who his father had to care for and in this video he sees his father killing the twin with less weight.
He can't believe this because he always had thought that the releasing would be connected with a lot of fun for those, who are innocent.

In chapter 12 you start to get in the known of the local occurrence.
Jonas experienced again a situation with his ''Capacity to See Beyond'' and then he talks about it with ''The Giver'', who assigned Jonas to call him like this.
Folliwing is told that in the world, as it exists in the community, is no color, no snow falling down and even no sunshine!
All this was aboliched by previous generations in order to achieve equality, which was to aim for.

Dear Mrs. Bunstein,
I enjoyed the in which we worked with the book and we always had much fun in the lessons.
The book itself was not so bad as initially expected, but I still think that it's noch the perfect choice.
In my case I had especially with regard to the first pages many problems in understanding the plot and therefor the notion was quickly low, although it was in the following chapters in many times easier and more fun.
The job offers were mostly large and we could have chosen for each chapter a different task.
But I also have to say that these job offers seems to me a bit drab and I found myself a bit limited in most cases.
Working with the Pc seems to me rather difficult because it is inevitable that there are sometimes technical problems as it has taken me a few times.
Until now I always decided to complete those long time task on paper and I would have been happy about this offer.
Otherwise I really liked working with the book and especially the working atmosphere was very very good!!
